Thank you all for continuing to pray for my mother. She had new scans done earlier today: the tumor is about the same size as before, and her swelling is quite bad. Her lungs are slightly collapsed, the right lung is mostly full of fluid, and the doctors said to go the ER. Hopefully they can drain the fluid tonight. (She’s been short of breath since she woke up this morning.)
There are a couple other notes worth mentioning: her liver has developed cirrhoses. Secondly, she’s scheduled for the next round of chemo on February 19th. I’m planning on visiting home that weekend or the following, and hope to be of help, or at least comfort, to her and my dad.
Pray for endurance and wisdom by the Spirit, and that we keep our minds stayed on him apart from whom we can do nothing.
